Northern Virginia Chorale Fliers

I had participated in this local chorale for years. I started volunteering to design their fliers and concert programs. It was fairly straightforward work, but I had an interest in making the fliers more visually appealing. Most advertisements for local chorales are about the same, with a photograph or two of the singers and director, overly busy background, and too much information in every part of the ad.

My goal was to create a template with an easy to read hierarchy, but with one element that can catch the eye from a distance. I would look for an image, or images, that is relevant to the theme of the concert and then re-imagine it the way I wanted it to be in a limited color palette.

These were positively received by the chorale and their leadership, including the director himself.
