“Who Plays Videogames?”
Infographic
In this project, I chose to make an infographic about video games, a special interest of mine. I’ve been playing video games since I was young, so I tend to gravitate to the pixelated styles of the 8-bit and 16-bit generations of the late 1980s and early 90s. I carried over this aesthetic to the design of this infographic so that even the background gradient had a pixelated feel. The only elements I didn’t pixelate were the smaller texts for readability sake.
Animated Infographic
I later took the elements of this infographic and animated it into a short video. Most of the elements remained the same, although I did add a few extra bits of animation with the two characters.
